1 by Day is an outstanding mega site featuring movies from the large Eastern European studio of photographer Denys DeFrancesco, who pumps out material for 1 by Day and twelve other sites, along with dozens, perhaps hundreds, of DVD titles such as "Pleasures of the Flesh" and "Just 18" for New Sensations and Swank Video. When a site has so many models that they have them alphabetized, you know you are in for a chicken-choking good time. But it was not the huge quantity of J.O.M. (800+ models, over 10,000 of movies and tens of thousands of hi-res photos for download) that impressed us most; it was the beauty of the models and the excellent photography and site design. After looking at hundreds of sites that are all peddling the same documentary style suck and fucks we were beginning to think we worked at the Discovery Channel instead of a porn review shop, but 1 by Day has renewed our enthusiasm for this profession. It has been an awfully long time since Sir Rodney saw porn movies that had art direction (i.e. drapes that match the sheets). That was only the beginning of the pleasures of these studio-made pictures. Better, more thoughtful lighting, and fantastic angles on the action heighten the beauty of the performers, and raise the temperature of sex. For example, we were wondering why sexy Hungarian brunette Amy was fucking hunky Sebastian on a bunk bed, until the camera moved in to show us some incredible angles. THAT is something to see. Because the girls speak very limited English, feints in the direction of story are mostly accomplished via long-winded and poorly written prose on the model selection page. The actors don't bother with much chat or setup anyway; they get right into the action, and seem to really enjoy it. The Czech, Russian, Hungarian, Ukrainian, eastern European models are a cut above what we usually see, and it is no surprise that many, such as Monica Sweetheart, Michelle Wild, Rita Faltoyano, Sophie Moone, Bobbi Eden, Silvia Saint, Simony Diamond, Sandra Shine, Jane Darling, and Sandy Style, have become genuine stars. We got the distinct impression that Denys got them first. Worth noting are the odd assortment of "channels," including "foot fetishes" which features several dozen excellent and unique videos. Check out the set with Hungarian beauty Sophie Moore, who poses as a soccer player, with a net and a bed, and undresses and masturbates with this giant dido ball, which she works with her feet. This reviewer is no fetishist, but that video was surreal, hot, and original. Kudos to costumes, sets, and prop departments for giving the girl the tools she needs to do her thing. There is also a section of girls with machines, and many, many others that will keep you quite busy when you're done downloading 250+ hardcore scenes. Not to sound nerdy, but the programming and hardware behind 1 by Day is equally as impressive as the media. Downloads were fast! And the navigation and user controls are well thought out, leaving little or no guesswork for the user. Each video is accompanied by robust photo sets, so you know exactly what you are downloading. These are no screen captures, either. The photos are the best of quality offered in small, medium, and large format as well as zip files for set download. The movies are offered in Quick Time, Windows Media, and DIVX avi files. Videos can be downloaded in segments and thankfully most of them can also be had as a whole. 1byDay seems to be updated daily, which is why, we suppose, Denys chose this odd name for his main web site. A site of this size and quality rarely needs extras, but this site is loaded with them, including interviews with the models and an extensive and fascinating look inside this major European porn studio. When you're tired of all that relentless American reality, come to 1 by Day, and relax into their fantasy world. (Updated 8.07)

Mainly solo girl, but also a large amount of lesbian stuff. And some boy/girl stuff (for those strange people that enjoy seeing naked guys with the babes).
