Adult DVD Marketplace is an eBay-type concept that brings together buyers and sellers of both new and used adult DVDs. Like eBay, or more like Half.com, buyers and sellers register to do business in this semi-unique forum. We would guess that the creators of this site, ADM Media, Inc., may in fact be a video wholesaler themselves as they also run DVDMarketplace.com for non-adult titles. The site is professionally built, with an intuitive interface and, like eBay, uses the feedback system so you know you are dealing with a reputable seller. In addition, Adult DVD Marketplace is responsible for ensuring that sellers meet the commitments of the participation agreement and that they fulfill every order in a professional manner. So with this promise, Adult DVD should be a safe place to buy and save a few dollars at the same time. We did notice that some listings do not display a box cover or description. This could be because, similarly to Half.com, the sellers are allowed to select from a pre-made database of titles - and in cases where the correct one is none available - they must upload their own which they may or may not have. The site also has some upsell tools such as Wish List, Reviews, Info, Top Rated, Top Performers, What Other Customers Bought, etc. You can also sign up for email alerts that will inform you the instant a DVD on your wish list goes down in price. All in all, this site shows a huge effort on the part of the owners and although we have not made any purchases yet, we will soon and update this review as needed. (Reviewed 1.06)

Submitted by Dennis 2006-07-07 00:00:00 FYI: If you're on Adult DVD Marketplace, beware that seller "AAA-XXX" is the same company as "FilthyDVDs". Submitted by Dennis 2006-01-17 00:00:00 I have purchased many titles from Adult DVD Marketplace from different sellers. One of the best sellers (and the only seller on the site to have an actual profile of their address, policies, etc) is DVD Movies Direct. I got an email with a package tracking number immediately, and I was able to track it online. It arrived fast, too. Probably the worst sellers on the site were "FilthyDVDs" and "Adultdvd-stores". It took what seemed like forever to get my orders and it turned out that both sellers are actually the same company under different names.
