AllDVDS.tv has a simple premise: Take lots of DVDs, break them up into scenes, and offer them for download on the Internet. The concept is a good one, especially as the clips are categorized by niche and easily searchable by Title, Actor, Niche, and Studio. Available on AllDVDS.tv are multiple DVD clips covering Amateurs, Anal, Asian, Black, Blowjobs, Busty, Euro, Extreme, Hardcore, Interracial, Lesbians, Mature, Orgy, Pornstars, and Threesomes.
According to the site, there are over 15,000 gigs of movies available with no download limits. However, these scenes may be DRM-protected. When we went to play them the site asked for our username and password. Impertinence! Each movie page offers nine screen captures from each scene, so you have a idea of what they contain. This is a 'good thing', since these high resolution 480 by 360 avi video files seem to take a long time to download. (If you're looking for a quickie at lunch, surf elsewhere.) In fact, when Sir Rodney was writing this, our first download to disk completed, but did not turn up in our directory. So we are attempting it again; so far ten minutes have elapsed and the 214 MB clip is only 83% complete! (Note to AllDVDs: offer some lower resolution downloads for those on the clock!)
On the plus side, AllDVDS.tv does appear to add a new DVD every few days. The screen captures are also reasonably detailed, although not diverting enough to fill the time while waiting for the interminable downloads to complete. There are no extras to speak of as far as we could tell. Meanwhile, the fact that the complete DVD case covers were posted apparently full-sized on the site didn't help. It just made the wait all that more ... poignant.

Sir Rodney's advice: If you have lots of time and patience, then enduring AllDVDs' turtle-slow downloads (and we have 3 MB DSL) may be worth it. (Our clip finally arrived after 15 minutes. The full-screen resolution was reasonably good, but no better than we have seen in high resolution streamed Windows Media at other sites.) But if you frustrate easily or suffer from ADD, go elsewhere.

2007-07-19 00:00:00I Found Alldvds very clean. It's true that it's a bit long to download the movies but the quality worth the wait time. Plus, the screencaps make me feel horny lol. I found enough porn to survive a couple of months :)
