Up and coming Goth model Apnea is a rogue from Suicide Girls, where she first gained some recognition within the alternative community. At roughly 20 years of age, Apnea at times looks as if she has been dead for some 3 days or so. You won't see Apnea in a Boucher, but she does have that classic Vampire look and a face the camera worships. She also wears size 7.5 shoes and looks like she could be the long lost love child of Christina Ricci and Traci Lords.Apneatic dot com is essentially an elaborate portfolio for this young lady and an entertaining playground for her Myspace friends. The members' section entitles you to some 60 sets of Apnea in various stages of undress. The photography is actually quite glam, the set and wardrobe design first-class. There are only about half-dozen or so videos at the time of this review, but we expect the number to grow steadily. They may not be Michael Medved's cup of vodka, but we found them endearingly quirky. We especially liked the nude origami lessons, and Sir Rodney walked away a better man after learning how to drink wine out of a box.... er, bag. But even an alternachick such as Apnea is not mighty enough to defy the quaint laws of the Lone Star State and, unfortunately for Sir Rodney, she is already married, to a fine gentleman called Lithium Picnic.
The web site itself is an excellent example of programming and design working together. The delivery of the content and overall navigation are easy to figure out. The few existing videos are fairly short and streamed on-site in Quicktime. Stills are the highlight here and are mostly 800x600. There is a forum on the site as well as a journal so you can stay abreast of the happenings of the hostess.
If you're looking for your usual vanilla single-model site, look elsewhere. Apneatic.com will give you a glimpse into a lovely freebird who loves hamming it up and will bring a smile to your face.
