Dare Dorm claims to bring you real dorm room footage of xxx rated college sex. The site also claims it will even pay people who submit their own videos $10,000, if they are used. So, with the promise of authentic, amateur college porn, we did not need to be dared to check this action out. Unfortunately, like many college students’ term papers the night before they are due, Dare Dorm is an incomplete project that cannot yet earn a passing grade.
At the moment, Dare Dorm only contains eight movies. These scenes are rather lengthy and run anywhere from 40 minutes up to 90 minutes. Most start with a party atmosphere, drinking games, or just hanging out in the dorm room. Things get progressively more daring and racy until finally, clothes come off and people pair up for some fucking and sucking. There is plenty, perhaps way too much, commentary from the camera person, as well as the rest of the spectators in the room. Cameras go out of focus at times, zoom in and out, and bounce around too much for our taste. Lighting is also poor in some cases. These factors add to the amateur theme, but don’t necessarily make for better porn.
The girls are fresh faces. Some of them look like real college students, other bear a distinct resemblance to strippers with their characteristic fingernails, tats, fake tits and ability to shake their booty. Maybe we can split the difference and say they are college students putting themselves through school with money from stripping ;) Certainly, if you’re going to film one of these scenes, having participants with something of a professional background could lead to a more successful outcome.
An interesting facet to the Dare Dorm site is their offer to pay $10,000 if they use your movie. That is a lot of money to spend on one porn scene, believe us, but it’s also a lot of money for any college student and budding videographer. The site provides more about the requirements and restrictions, which include having consent forms and IDs from all participants. This means you can’t make quick cash just by leaving your video camera running in your dorm room hoping to film your roommate and his girlfriend doing the nasty while you are in class.
Okay, now for two more things that are more of a downer than an 8am calculus class. Currently, the movies may only be streamed, not downloaded, though HD resolution is available. Also, though he site is produced by the Reality Kings, Dare Dorm members do not get access to any other sites in the network. There are a few upsells for dating, live cams, and some other porn sites, but no free bonus material, yet.
We do hope that Dare Dorm soon gets more movies, makes them downloadable, and provides access to rest of the great Reality Kings porn network. If not, you’ll really have to dare us to come back.
