The masses may wonder why Rodney has neglected to review Girls Gone Wild thus far. Could it be that none of us have cable TV and didn't know about the site? Actually, we just didn't care for their business model and chose not to until now. Like the Time Life music club, the goal of GGW is to hook customers into a monthly video subscription for which they send you porn and bill your credit card. In the past year or so, Girls Gone Wild has established a stronger web presence to the point that we now feel obligated to tell you about it. The overall theme is of course hot college girls getting drunk on spring break.
Although the majority of the Girls Gone Wild material is flashing and public nudity, they have stepped it up a notch with some pretty good lesbian sex sets. If you've seen the commercial, you already have an idea of what is to come. Some chucklehead like Doug Stanhope runs around handing out T-shirts and $20 spots. The hottest (or the sluttiest) girls are offered more, for more. Some of the video themes and titles you'll recognize are: Mardi Gras, wet T-shirt strip off, road trip, girl power, college coeds, endless spring break, sex starved college girls, freshman orientation, and let's not forget Doggy style; with your host Snoop Dawg. Shizzle my fizzle! To their credit, many of these young girls are first timers on video and most of them are totally delicious. Some of the girls partake in interviews where you get to know them some, but most are simply referred to as "babe" or "honey." Unless we missed it, we did not see much in the way of boy-girl hardcore. There was some bonus material here too like Hustler Lipstick Lesbians and Mac & Bumble. You also get access to the Banned from TV series - which is mostly awful reality footage that no one should watch anyway and shows why our planet is going to Hell in a handbasket.
As mentioned, GGW offers much of this content on the web now. Sadly, most of the videos are incomplete and nothing is available for download - only streaming on-site. This brings us to the quality. Your streaming options are 320x240 and full screen, which just blows up the former, in Quick Time, Windows Media, or Flash. The photos being offered are nothing more than low resolution screen caps from the videos. Aside from that, the site itself is quite nice.

There is some "exclusive" web content within Girls Gone Wild, but it seems that the goal was still to sell the VHS or DVD subscription. In any case, the theme here was definitely a fun one. We can't promise that you will bust a nutizzle, but this may make a good appetizer to something a bit more filling.

2006-09-10 00:00:00I tried the three day trial. looked around and the video's were not bad. However the exclusive Content were 2 to 3 minute clips, basicaly Highlight. Some good movies, but you could not watch all of a Specific Video. The best part for me was the Bonus Material. The site was easy to navigate. But they obviously don't want to put the stuff online. and for $29.95 a month I expect to see all of the Video's that are offered. After all they sell the Video's for $9.99 on TV.
