Melon Puff is a non-exclusive DVD site launched in late 2007. The DVDs focus mainly on college aged babes going wild, so to speak. The best thing about this site is the price – only $9.95 for a month or $19.95 for three. If you have a limited porn budget, this might be the site for you. However, if you can afford to spend a bit more, we would suggest that you skip right over this site.
The member's area of Melon Puff looks just like the tour, a feature that we are always happy to see. It's a bit oversimplified and plain, with the DVDs hardly being represented before you download them. By this, we mean that there's only one tiny boxcover picture and a one sentence synopsis. DVDs are organized by category, so that's definitely a plus. As we mentioned before, these videos have a young amateur and voyeuristic feel. Categories include booty shake, casting couch, club flashers, college coeds, girl fun, mardi gras, sorority strip, spring break wild party girl, and wet tshirt. There are also some other generic categories for the DVDs that don't quite fit with the theme.
These full-length DVDs can be streamed or downloaded. They are not chopped up by scene, so if you want to stream a DVD, you have to watch it from start to finish and you can't skip through to the good parts until it has loaded up. Streaming is possible using Real Player and nothing else and full length downloads are avaialble in AVI format. The file sizes are huge and the download speeds are very fast. Even with hour long videos, they stream right away on a broadband connection.
Our biggest qualm with this site is that it was built under the "set it and forget it" formula. There are a lot of DVDs in the archive, but MelonPuff.com only updated for a month with this type of niched content. By the time November of 2007 rolled in, updates were extremely scarce. From November until April, there were a couple DVDs added in general categories. Since April, there haven't been any changes to the site at all.
If $10 is all you can afford and you like college aged public type of content, this site is an okay choice. You can go to the tour and be confident that the member's area is identical. Overall, this surely isn't a Sir Rodney favorite, but we certainly can't condemn it all around.
