Porn Different is a clever pun on Apple's 'Think Different' slogan and is dedicated to movies in Apple’s Quicktime .mov format. Many larger sites offer this format alongside the more widely used WMV format. While the concept of the site is sound, and one we’re sure Mac users would appreciate a lot, to be truly useful, Porn Different needs a lot more movies.
In its present state, Porn Different is different only in that it's a hodgepodge of assorted porn presentations that includes clips from '50s and '60s vintage porn juxtaposed with contemporary MILFs, lesbians, and teens. There's lots of good porn here, although there's no apparent reason other than this is what the webmaster must had on hand when building the site.
Indexing is almost nonexistent. You just view page after page of titles. They have box covers and very short descriptions, but there is no search or sorting capability and they seem randomly mixed together. Downloads are fairly speedy. Extras include Naked Closet, a still photography site and about ten streaming HD porn sites. On top of this are a lot of upsells for VOD, live cams and other paid membership sites.
The trial is full access, which is appreciated, but we think Porn Different needs to put in an urgent call to Cupertino, California and get Steve Jobs to revitalize this thing. Mac users everywhere demand it.
