Razor Dolls, similar to Suicide Girls, gives you a look into the Punk alternative subculture. The site has some functionality similar to Myspace and offers adult content featuring models with body art, tattoos, and piercings.For a site that is supposed to be original, we'd think they could have done a better job with the branding. The Razordolls logo is a pair of chicas, like the kind seen on mud flaps, usually belonging to rednecks trying to look macho. There are roughly 70 models presented and all of them are interesting, to say the least. Some girls, like Ariel, appear perfectly normal aside from a crazed look in the eyes. Other girls, like Amber, have more ink than skin and are obviously true punkers. About half of the models had videos, of which only a couple were hardcore. Many of these young ladies post in the forum and talk about everything and nothing in particular. Members may comment and flirt with the girls as well. The production quality was slightly less impressive than Suicide Girls and the settings were mundane. There were also numerous video interviews with bands and musicians, among them Gwar, Anthrax, Blowfly and many Sir Rodney has never even heard of.
The site seemed to have some programming issues and felt "bulky". Video quality was only average at 480x360 and about 100 Mb or less for 10 minutes of viewing. Photos were more prevalent and averaged 800x600 in size. As noted, there were some blog and posting features.
We gave Razordolls a fair shake, and our conclusion was that is was just too similar to Suicide Girls, yet not as good. There are numerous young and cute girls here and we enjoyed viewing them. But things like the Sexsearch.com ad helped to convince us that this was just another sellout. If Razor Dolls had more art or more porn, we would have given it kudos. As it stands, we felt this was just second fiddle.
