Although the name is a bit misleading, Sextube is a decent site that delivers what it promises. Sextube is not a tube site and it doesn't even have flash videos. What it has is a large DVD collection that's open to all its members.
The great thing about this site is that what you see is what you get. The tour and members area are exactly the same with just one difference – there aren't any working download links on the tour. Sir Rodney loves sites like this that put everything out there for you to judge. You can browse this site as if you were a member and decide if you like it or not. If you decide to join, there won't be any surprises. If you're still hesitant after seeing the whole site, you can always try the 2 day trial option for a mere $2.26. A full monthly membership is $24.97.
We don't feel like we need to talk much about navigation of this site since you can see it all in the tour. At the time of this review, there are over 500 full DVDs to choose from and over 3500 full length scenes. A new DVD is added every 2 days or so. These DVDs aren't exclusive but you are getting a lot of content for your money. They are organized really well and you have a lot of different browsing options.
Our only major qualm with Sextube is that the don't accommodate dialup users. Each scene is available for download in either Quicktime or WMV formats. Download speeds are fast for these full length files, but they are large so you do have to be a bit patient. You won't be able to get a scene instantly – you'll probably have to wait 10-25 minutes. The scenes are really good quality for the web but they're not DVD quality – 720x480 is the resolution.
Sextube is a well put together DVD site. There are many others out there like it so it's a matter of preference. If a lot of the DVDs in this particular collection pique your interest, go ahead and join. By taking the tour you'll know exactly what you're getting into and you won't be disappointed.
