The simple idea of a Goth Playboy has made Suicide Girls a modern day web cult classic. Featuring rebellious young girls in artsy photos and videos, Suicide Girls portrays the punk lifestyle in all its glory. Although these girls may be too young to be fans of The Cure or The Smiths, they do have the same progressive look from 20 years ago. After a year, the team at Rodney felt we should revisit this project and we were very pleased with all the improvements.
The content of SG has grown by leaps and bounds, partially due to networking within the "my space" world. Many alternative models consider SG a portfolio reference as opposed to a porn site and jump at the chance to be featured. As mentioned, the nature of the material is Playboy style at most and there is nothing dirty here. Instead, the girls are masterfully photographed (mostly nude) in urban settings around the world. Many of the girls have videos accompanied by a driving soundtrack with Blink 182 or Nine Inch Nails and consist of a short combination interview slash soliloquy. The most sensible young lady on the site was Eva, who states that she has no tattoos or piercings as she knows she may not want them years from now. Aside from that, some of the more "interesting" "left-of-center" folds were Katie, Nala, Ember, and Aiki. Members are allowed to post comments for each set and the models do actually participate in the banter. In total, there are roughly 1,000 models here mostly pierced, tattooed, and coiffed in extraordinary ways. However, if you're not of the iPod generation you may not be able to fully appreciate the offerings here.
The shabby sheik presentation of Suicide Girls is a first-rate job. This is one of the only sites in the world that has managed to use such a gaudy violet background in such a tasteful way! The site itself is complex, but navigation is simple enough. Photos are presented with thumbs and even with a slideshow option (just like Playboy). The videos are available in QuickTime for download and are also streamed on-site, but they are fairly small and only of average resolution. Not so much a technical issue, but we offer kudos for branding and marketing as the Suicide Girls Store features nicely designed camisoles, underpants and posters. Perhaps they are looking for an HBO or MTV series!

2007-02-17 00:00:00I have been a participating member of the Suicide Girls site for a few months now and have not gotten the least bit tired of the sights, sounds, beautful young ladies and fantastic photography. The site is reasonably priced and a new lady takes her place in immortality every 7 minutes throughout the days and nights. I'm smitten with the body art, its color, composition and design; the multicolored coifs and avant garde clothing and poses of the ladies, some more daring than others. It's a place to gather friends and express thoughts and feelings about the world. Altogether a very stimulating and interesting site... and I'm not an IPod-carrying member of society, but a 56 year old baby boomer, and can appreciate all the goings on on the SG site. I'll be a member until I die, but I'll go with a smile on my face. -

2006-11-12 00:00:00The aspect I really enjpy is the 'in your face' demeaner of many of the girls - and the fact that often, they are doing interesting things while getting nude (eg riding a bike, fire handling, holding snakes, etc.) But the nude shots are far too tame and soft, especially given the 'alternative culture' image most of the girls seemed to have adopted. I like the fact that its is far more than a 'nude girlie' type site - there are discussions, you can send messages, etc. For the price ($49 pa), it's cheap. The pages also take too long to come up on the computer, and I find this a major irritation. Overall, a good site, but some tweeking of some aspects could improve it 50%. -

I'm sick of ginoromous elephant sized breasts that you know are going to sag down to the floor within the next year or bloody blond haired bimbos. It's more interesting then grey's anatomy. I watched hot naked chicks beating up santa claus in a basement garage. Videos have good music believe it or not, and the pictures sometimes usualy have themes. It ranges from amateur to litium picnic quality. You get to talk to them and attend gatherings of sorts. but i guess if your into fake las vagas style bubbleheads fuck that are only good for spreading their legs, making disguistingly fake moaning noises and rubbing their swollen stiff siliconfilled cheat, then i guess you wouldn't like this site. -

The sign up is very inexpensive, and the girls are stunningly beautiful, and the communities are full of rich, friendly individuals. I would recommend this site as not only a porn site, but a place to find friends that'll last you a lifetime. -

2004-11-10 00:00:00Most of the girls are fucking hot,and I'm glad there aren't any wanky spunk shots (other than my own).But the photography could be better in some cases and a lot of the girls are inexperienced.You can have your own journal and upload photos of your own just to deepen your obsession.And also contact other public members who are mostly 18 to 24ish.You can contact the girls but they are not obliged to reply.It definitely has an amatuerish vibe and I don't think the models are well coached. Nice girls though. -

The poses run the gamut from pointless to inane to idiotic; and the photography is frequently awful beyond words. If you're looking for a bad deal to waste your money on, you can't do better than Suicide Girls.
