    For some 20 years, Vivid Video has been producing top quality adult entertainment films. For over 10 years, Vivid has been one of the leading websites in the porn community. With nearly 700 features and tons of extras, this is a good site for branded, mainstream, hardcore porn. This is strictly a streaming site, so expect nothing more than instant gratification.

    If you haven't heard of Vivid Video by now, you should go back to church and give thanks for your innocence. The material found here is 99% "mainstream" and you won't find much in the way of special interest. The Vivid stable is compiled of many past and present legends of porn such as Briana Banks, Jenna Jameson, Lanny Barby, Savanna Samson, and Tera Patrick, among many others. All of these models are perfect "10's" and if this is not your preference, the content will most likely bore you. Vivid now also has a webcam offering, and we saw about 50 live models avaiable on a Friday night.

    Vivid recently remodeled its website and the new look and feel is a good improvement over the old, in both form and function. You may now select your viewing pleasure by model or release title. The films themselves are fairly generic and there is no "content" filter, nor is there a need for one. You will also notice plenty of "partner" links to related products and services. Nothing makes us feel warmer than paying to see advertisements and we'd think a giant like Vivid would rise above this shameless whoring. The movies can only be streamed and can not be saved, unless you get crafty with some MMS decoding kung fu. Videos are offered in your choice of Real, Quick Time, or Windows Media. The material is viewed at 640x480 resolution, with the high speed choice being a modest rate of 500 Kbs. Full screen viewing is about average and we wouldn't be surprised if some are tempted to "Buy this DVD" since you can't save it and watching it on your monitor is less than ideal. Photos are also offered with most titles at 800x600 size.

    Sir Rodney truly respects the work of Vivid Video and no one can deny that they are a leader in the adult industry. We were fairly disapointed that we could not save some old Christy Canyon or Racquel Darrian material. Furthermore, we were irritated by the offer to buy these 20-year-old titles for some offensive price like $24.95. Since most of these performers don't get royalties and they already got $30.00 for your membership, we'd think something more equitable could have been arranged.

      Sir Rodney, WTF?! This site is far beneath your standards, or anyone's. NO downloads. Movies stream in a tiny window... what is this, 1998? Fuck them. I called the cust svc number when it showed up on my credit card and got my money back. THIS SITE IS A WASTE OF TIME!!!!!!!

      Pictures of the stars are Ok, but movies can't be downloaded and are of poor quality
      when trying to view them in any size other than the small box that streams them.

      Could have been an awesome site, but no downloads makes it below average.

      Terrible site...many of the girls do not even have movies in their sections....others have only low res, and even the high res isn't very good. Avoid at all costs....for 10 bucks got to videobox.com, much better I think.

      The form they offer for subscription asks for your credit card no. but does not have
      the security lock symbol. No damned way.

      This site was a huge let down for me. Primarily because they only allow streaming
      and the quality is extremely poor. Though your are given 2 selections: high and low
      bandwidth. The problem with the former is that the streaming would start and stop
      like every 15 seconds, so watching the movies were a total was waste of time.The
      latter had better streaming but was severly lacking in quality, it was so blurred i
      actually started to get a head ache in the fisrt minute of watching them. My advice
      avoid this site.!!!!!

      Of the fifty or so sites I've visited over the past few years, I'd rate this one at
      very close to the bottom because of its extremely poor picture quality. (Photos are
      apparently taken from films) It calls itself "vivid" so that you'll get the
      impression its pics are. They're not.
