Sir Rodney was none too impressed by Vicky Vette's Vicky at Home when we first reviewed it a few years ago. The reason was that blonde, 38DD drop-dead gorgeous Vicky's web site just didn't have the depth of inspiration that we had seen her display in adult cinema.
Times change and, thankfully, so has Vicky at Home. Now 41 years-old, this knockout is sexier than ever, and her expanded, porn-packed, and highly enthusiastic website proves it. In fact, any aspiring XXX performers who want to see how honestly and happily a reality-style porn star should act, need go no further than watching Vicky have sex with her boyfriend at 32,000 feet inside an airplane lavatory. The scene is so real and convincing, you feel like you're really in the washroom with them, which is a mind-boggling concept given how small such washrooms are.

all of the recent updates have been picture galleries that anyone can get for free
other places on the net. The few full videos on the site are of very different
qualities leading one to believe that they have just been grabbed from other sites
on the net. This makes the site look like a scavenger, taking free material and
charging a price for it.
People who sign up for the trial membership really get screwed. You never know when
there will be an update or if there will be a camshow. Vicky seems to be pretty
flakey on her camshows lately.

are rarely ever any new picture sets put up, the magazine scans look like terrible,
and the videos are such low quality that they aren't worth the time to download.
The diary and schedule are rarely ever updated, so the only way of knowing what's
going on is to join the yahoo group and read through the messages. The camshows are
completely unorganized. Vicky always comes late to them and doesn't appear to have
a plan or time table so thing don't flow properly. She spends more time playing
with her lack luster friends than paying attention to what her members are saying in
chat. The only real positive thing I can say about this site is that all of the
links seem to work properly.

I find the site to be very clean, organized, and pretty easy to open up compared

can, nothing in life is perfect. But please give Vicky credit for ease of use. There
are no pop-up ads jumping out at users and it is easy to go directly to whatever
you're looking for at the moment. I think she's done a pretty good job with the site
given the amount of time she spends shooting, doing cam shows, and building her
house. Her fans give her tips for improving the site and she implements them.
Vicky's always working on this site and I've seen many improvements over the last
few months. It's a work in progress and a labor of love. Maybe a professional web
designer could improve the site, but at least it's clean. No flashing ads or other
obnoxious junk all over the place.

Are you sure you liked it? The review started out good, but then you called
it a "vanity site"! Not sure how to take that? Lol....
Also, I thought the site was very user friendly. But you only scored it 2.5
sniff sniff, I'm crying now, you have broken my heart. You know I do the
site entirely myself right? Do you have any tips on making it more
navigable?
And what do you mean a dozen galleries?! There are 65 solo girl galleries,
14 girl girl galleries, 23 boy girl galleries, 34 behind the scenes
galleries, 28 magazine layouts, 14 radio or internet interviews, around 20
galleries of girlfriends, plus about 100 video clips ranging from 1 min to
45 min each and also 30 camshow archive videos which are approximately one
hour long each.
The site is $24 a month, not $30 like they stated somewhere, the $30 is only
for lazy people who don't want to have to be bothered to cancel. And they
didn't mention my loyalty discount. If you signup through CCBill, the
longer you stay a member the lower your price goes. I have several members
who pay only $18 per month.
Did you see the whackart section on the free part? And the free anal clip
every day. There is lots of information and pics on the free section, even
blonde jokes and cartoons. Lots of galleries from avn, internext, and the
tampa show.
Anyway, I'm glad they liked it.... Just wait for milfqueen! It's gonna rock.

you on.
I don't understand why the site only got 2.5 stars on ease of use. I have been a
member of the site a while now, and I haven't had any trouble what so ever
navigating it.
I also must disagree with your comment about the site being "a tad too amateurish".
Unlike many pornstars' personal websites, Vicky does all of the work on the site
herself. She has full control over it and does her best to put up things that her
fans request. I belive this attentativeness is very commendable. Anyone who is a
member of the yahoo group associated with her website knows that she answers every
comment and question on an almost daily basis.
I would have to rate this site among one of the best self-run sites.
Sir Rodney's Comment: To clarify, we worship Vicky Vette. Were she here right now, Sir Rodney would fall to his knees. It is touching that she maintains the site herself. This is no mean trick - we geniunely respect that - and it is TIME CONSUMING, as we know from experience ;) Certaily, that is part of the site's charm. We have no doubt Vicky is attentive to her members (she's been writing to Sir Rodney as you can see); and the cam show archives suggest there is real value in the live shows. BUT (sorry, you asked): the movies are in different formats, often require an additional log in, are chopped into too many segments, are poorly indexed and previews scant, and take way too long to download. The upsell to ppv movies is just inexcuseable, even for a loving, bright and beautiful porn star just trying to make a buck. Truth be told (you asked for it): if we didn't love Vicky so much, we'd push ease of use below average. Vicky = extra ordinary in every way. Navigation of Vicky's site = average (because we're being nice). All of that said, for those who can't get enough of Vicky, this site will scratch that itch and then some. It worked for me :-) -

I would say that 90% of my videos are in wmv format. I wish I could keep everything
that way, but sometimes I do content shares with other models, and their tech people
are in control of the video format - sometimes video companies or internet sites are
good enough to give me some footage that I've shot to use as content on my site, and
it's in a different format. I would hate to refuse it! I take what I can get! I
never say no to content! I don't know if there is any software that can change the
file formats. I'll look into it.
As for being slow to download, I can hardly control that can I? Some of the scenes
are 45 min long, and the camshows are an hour. The higher quality the video the
larger the files. so that's why I started cutting some of them into clips, to make
the downloads faster.
I really try hard, I work on the site almost every day.
I went through 2 webmasters in the beginning - it wasted a whole year of my time and
thousands and thousands of dollars. I ended up with a partially written site and
lots of tears and feeling ripped off.
One wonderful fan of mine, sent me a present. "The dreamweaver bible". I studied
it religiously, lol.... I got the site up and running, have rewritten it entirely at
least once and I'm constantly improving it.
